The LEHH-type emergency lighting units are designed accor-ding to the standard EN60598-2-22 and IEC 61347-2-7 and are suited to be mounted in lighting installations complying with the standards VDE O108 and EN50172. The LEHH emergency lighting unit has to be used in combination with a mains converter in a LED light fitting or with a LED-tube.
Under normal mains operation the current flowing through the LED or the LED array is supplied by the mains converter in the LED light fitting or in the LED-tube. Under emergency operation the LED array or the LED-tube will be powered by the battery. The current supplied by the battery under emergency is converted into LED-current by the LEHH unit.
